We've all been waiting to get back on our bikes after the long winter months. Luckily, here on the Sunshine Coast, we are fortunate enough to get going a little sooner than most. In celebration of this new riding season, amongst other things, the Capilano University Mountain Bike Operations program brings you the inaugural Roam the Loam, Sunshine Coast Bike Festival.
This 2 day bike festival will include a trail building session and film night, followed by a day with everything from the unveiling of a new trail to a jump jam. There's going to be tons of swag and prizes to go around. Everyone is encouraged to come out and get on their bikes for the first time this season (if you haven't yet already). Nothing to ride? Kona will be there with a demo fleet, so if you're looking for a new rig for the upcoming year this is a great time to come and try some of the sweet bikes that Kona has to offer.
Roam the Loam will be taking place at the SprocKids Bike Park in Gibson, BC, on April 18th and 19th. So if you're looking for a good alternative to Sea Otter, head to Gibsons for a surefire stellar weekend of bike filled craziness!!!
